Who I am

Hi! My name is Jillian and I am currently a Maryknoll Lay Missioner. In January of 2020, I will be going to Haiti for three and a half years to serve the people of Gros Morne. As of writing this, I have no idea what I will be doing but I have three years to figure that out and hopefully make an impact. I wish to share my experiences and reflections here. With luck, I will update at least once a month.

I am from Cincinnati and have two wonderful parents and two siblings, an older brother and sister. I studied Human Rights and the University of Dayton and then participated in a year-of-service with FrancisCorps in Syracuse, NY serving in a L'Arche community.

I want to thank all my family and friends who have encouraged me and given me so much love and support. I can never repay you!
